How to find housing in Madrid

Quando mi è stato detto che la mia domanda per studiare a Madrid con il programma Erasmus era stata accettata, la prima cosa a cui ho pensato è: come trovo casa a Madrid?
Ho iniziato allora a fare ricerche e a guardare annunci di camere/appartamenti su siti diversi. Ce ne sono davvero tanti, e non tutti sono così utili o sicuri. Alla fine ce l'ho fatta! Ho trovato un appartamento nella zona di Malasaña, e ne sono molto felice :D
Ho deciso allora, dopo tante settimane passate a cercare informazioni, di scrivere una piccola guida per voi su come trovare casa a Madrid! Ho messo insieme una lista dei siti/pagine dove la maggior parte delle persone che si trasferiscono a Madrid trovano casa!
Prima di tutto, ci sono un sacco di pagine e gruppi su Facebook dove studenti pubblicano annunci di camere o appartamenti che si liberano. Esempi sono Housing in Madrid for Students, Erasmus Madrid 2016: housing & accomodation e Madrid Roommate and Flat Search.
Un'altra opzione è Idealista, un sito dove ci sono un sacco di annunci di appartamenti o camere disponibili, non solo per Madrid ma anche per molte altre città.
Io il mio appartamento l'ho trovato su Spot A Home, dove anche qui trovate un sacco di annunci con diverse opzioni (camera singola, condivisa, appartamento ecc). Spot A Home mi piace molto perché mandano delle persone a controllare la casa e fanno un video stile vlog dove mostrano la camera o l'appartamento, dando anche più informazioni sulla casa. In questo modo sai com'è la casa realmente e non ti basi solamente su foto. Poi data la mia esperienza posso affermare che hanno un buon servizio clienti, hanno risposto a tutte le mie domande nel giro di minuti, anche a quelle più stupide!

As soon as I've been told that my application to study in Madrid with the Erasmus program was accepted, the first thing I thought about was: how do I find housing in Madrid?
I then started to do research and look at ads of rooms/apartments on different websites. There are so many, and not all of them are really useful or safe. But eventually, I made it! I found an apartment in the neighborhood of Malasaña and I'm really happy about it!
So, after a lot of weeks of researching information, I decided to write for you a short guide on how to find housing in Madrid. I put together a list of pages/websites where most of the people that move to Madrid find their new home!
First of all, there are a lot of Facebook pages and groups where students post ads of rooms or apartments available. Examples are Housing in Madrid for Students, Erasmus Madrid 2016: housing & accommodation and Madrid Roommate and Flat Search.
Another option is Idealista, a website where there are a lot of ads of flats or rooms, not only for Madrid but for a lot of other cities.
I found my flat on Spot A Home, where you can also find a lot of ads with different options (single room, shared room, flat etc). I really like Spot A Home because they send people to the house to check the place and they take a video vlog-style where they show the room or the apartment and also give extra information. This way you will know how the house really looks like and you don't only rely on pictures. Moreover, due to my experience, I can say that they have a very good customer service, they answered all of my questions in a matter of minutes, even the stupid ones!
Other useful websites are Vibbo, Fotocasa and Easy Piso.
